Today the Association for Citizenship Teaching (ACT) has launched a educator survey to learn about the state of Citizenship education in schools across England.
In specific the Association is keen to hear from educators about the impact of the Ebacc on GCSE Citizenship Studies and the effects of the government’s National Curriculum review on Citizenship in the curriculum.
We urge you to respond to the survey now.
As far as the Curriculum review goes, we’re still waiting for the government to announce its plans for the secondary National Curriculum. We hope the proposals will be positive for Citizenship. For further guidance, see the relevant UK information.
