On 25 April, 100 learners from across the nation will unite at Royal Holloway University to debate and draft a modern-day Magna Carta for the nation.
The young law makers will gather at Royal Holloway to debate and draft a modern-day Magna Carta for the nation. It will be the initial in a series of Constitutional Conventions planned by Egham Museum to celebrate the charter’s 800th anniversary.
The conventions are supported by the Supreme Court, Amnesty International, the National Centre for Citizenship and the Law, Brunel University and Royal Holloway.
A limited number of school places are available. Visit the Convention’s website to book five learners from your school. For further guidance, see the relevant UK information.
