GCSE consultations 2014

The consultations are now closed, but what were they all about?

We were not happy with proposed revisions to GCSE area of study content and assessment.

So, in November 2014, we encouraged you to respond to two consultations: one on area of study content (from the Department for Education), the other on assessment (from Ofqual, the exam regulator).

To make life easier for you, we prepared example responses for both and forms that sent your responses directly to the DfE and Ofqual consultation teams.

And you took full advantage of them. 59 individuals responded to the DfE and 48 to Ofqual, using our forms.
